Trent and McMaster host!

Hello OUEA and Friends!

On Sunday, October 14th both the East and West zones competed at Kildare Stables and Ancaster Fairgrounds respectively.  Both had a blast with great riding despite some not so great weather.  The OUEA would like to thank and congratulate Trent and McMaster on running great days!

For the East Zone, the teams were entertained by super cute ponies and all the horses were incredibly well behaved.  Even though it was rainy and muddy the footing held up and the courses went well.  Luckily for everyone the rain stopped for the flat classes so we could ride outside!

Special thanks to Kevin Sweeney and the whole Kildare team for all their help and for being so welcoming to the circuit.

Congratulations to Trent and UOIT for being High Point and Reserve High Point Teams for the day.  Team Standings are now as follows:

On the West Zone, McMaster hosted our first indoor show with a great turnout and tons of school spirit.  Even though it was super windy the horses behaved and everyone had a great day.  Big thanks to all the volunteers and especially the prize donors for having some of the OUEA's best prizes ever!

Congratulations to Guelph and Western for being High Point and Reserve High Point Teams...this is two in a row for Guelph!

School's Back, and so is the OUEA!

While we're all probably still recovering from busy summers and attempting to re-learn how to read and take notes, the OUEA is getting ready for another great season.

This coming Sunday, September 16th will be our annual Rep Meeting at the Alder Street Recreation Center at 3:30pm.  It is MANDATORY and we can't wait to see new and familiar faces.
